The 2023 conference is titled, “Limits to Autonomy”. We hope to explore the legal and ethical issues around autonomy and its subsequent limits. The conference will run from 9.30am-3.30pm on Friday 24th March on-site at Bristol University, but delegates are also welcome to join online.
We are honoured to be joined by the following speakers to present their latest research:
• Dr Harleen Johal
• Dr Adeline Perrot
• Dr Maximilian Kiener
• Dr Lucy Series
The conference will also feature the research of the current iBSc Bioethics intercalators through the inclusion of a Three Minute Thesis segment.
We are proud to announce that BEACON 2023 will be sponsored by the IME (Institute of Medical Ethics) and SAP (Society of Applied Philosophy).
There will be refreshments and lunch provided.
We hope you can join us for a day that will be full of interesting discussion and opportunities to network and meet like-minded people.
