Membership of the SAP is open to anyone interested in its aims, whether or not they hold a philosophical qualification or are employed as a professional philosopher. Membership currently costs £25 per annum and includes four issues of the Journal of Applied Philosophy (individual non-members rate £95), as well as reduced fees at the Society's meetings and conferences. Members can also apply for event funding, through the Society's event grant application scheme. From time to time, members also enjoy discounts on special publications.
