The SAP will make a grant of up to £500 to support any workshop, conference, colloquium or event which meets the specified conditions given below:
If you have an idea for
an event please supply the following information
- NAME
- INSTITUTIONAL AFFILIATION
- POSITION
- ADDRESS
- PROPOSED EVENT SUBJECT, including rationale
- PROPOSED VENUE
- PROPOSED DATE
- PROPOSED SPEAKER(S)
- ESTIMATED BUDGET
and send by email to: admin@appliedphil.org

Successful applicants will be required to write a report on the event for the Society's Executive Committee. The Society also requires that the SAP is acknowledged as a sponsor and that information about the Society is circulated during the event (the Society holds leaflets to be forwarded in advance of the event for this purpose).
The following structure can be used as a guideline for reporting:
Details of:
- Attendance (numbers of attendees; and any further relevant information about attendees: institutional and geographical 'spread'; numbers of postgraduate, members of general public etc)
- Budget: confirmation that this was as projected and use of SAP funds
- The form that the public acknowledgement of SAP took;
- Any planned publications;
- Any feedback (from evaluation sheets, etc.)
The report should be returned to admin@appliedphil.org within one month of the event taking place.
