The Society sponsors an Annual Lecture to be delivered by a philosopher who has made an important contribution to the field of applied philosophy broadly construed. The revised texts of Annual Lectures will be published in the Journal of Applied Philosophy.

Future Annual Lectures will be given by Professor Thomas Pogge (Yale) in 2009, and Professor Philip Kitcher (Columbia) in 2010. The venues and exact dates of these events are yet to be determined.
